Kings of ConvenienceIf you’ve been keeping up with my Twitter feed, you may have noticed that I’ve been incredibly busy as of late. I just can’t seem to catch a break with finding time to blog now that I currently work two jobs. Of course, those who have been keeping up have come to expect lengthy periods of inactiveness, at least on my part.

Mentioning any kind of worthwhile albums from the past three weeks is just a meaningless task, as you can just take a peek below to see the excellent amount of releases at your disposal. Hopefully, next week we can get back to the weekly postings, but there are no guarantees unfortunately. Hope everyone understands!

I’ve known about Bishop Allen for as long as I’ve been running this blog, but for some reason or another I just have never listened to any of their records. I’m sure I would enjoy their material, and maybe in some other parallel universe I’m praising them just like everyone else, but I guess I’m just waiting for someone to put one of their albums on my lap to listen to.

Well, I may not be on the B.A. bandwagon, but there are some other releases this week that I can certainly get behind. A few of those including Anni Rossi’s Rockwell (crappy cover not withstanding), Madeline’s White Flag, Mirah’s (a)spera, Handsome Furs’ Face Control, and Elvis Perkins’ Elvis Perkins in Dearland.
