Sorry for the lack of updates the past few weeks, as I felt I needed a little break from the blog. Considering it’s only March (seriously, it’s already March!), it may seem odd that I would already need some time away, but hey, it happens!
With that being said, the first thing to scratch off the list upon updating is catching up with the album releases from the past weeks, including this week as well. And as you notice, there’s a ridiculous amount of releases that made their way down the pipe — almost too many to mention. So in an attempt to get this out as quickly as possible, I’ll let you guys recommend what’s worthy of dropping down some cash for.

I’ve been incredibly busy the past couple of weeks (primarily moving, among other things) and I’m just now finally getting settled in. I don’t think I’ve had this kind of incessant time away from blogging since I started this thing, but hopefully things will get back to normal around here.
What better way to kick things off than with The Daily Graboid, as this will be another chunk of the last month or so of releases that I’ve missed. Starting next week I will probably get back to a weekly posting of this, so I’m sure that will at least please the majority of you.
Feel free to recommend anything I may have missed!

I’ve known about Bishop Allen for as long as I’ve been running this blog, but for some reason or another I just have never listened to any of their records. I’m sure I would enjoy their material, and maybe in some other parallel universe I’m praising them just like everyone else, but I guess I’m just waiting for someone to put one of their albums on my lap to listen to.
Well, I may not be on the B.A. bandwagon, but there are some other releases this week that I can certainly get behind. A few of those including Anni Rossi’s Rockwell (crappy cover not withstanding), Madeline’s White Flag, Mirah’s (a)spera, Handsome Furs’ Face Control, and Elvis Perkins’ Elvis Perkins in Dearland.
