Dirty Projectors :: “Stillness Is The Move”

I’m a bit late on the news of this free download of the single “Stillness Is The Move” from Dirty Projectors, which was released late last week. Normally, I wouldn’t bother since everyone else has already mentioned it, but the song is actually pretty damn impressive. To download this track, you’ll have to sign up at Domino Record’s site (just your email), which I’ve provided a link for right here. The free MP3 will only be available for a limited time, so go ahead and do that right now.
I actually found a live version of the track on Stereogum, which was recorded by NPR during a performance at The Parish during SXSW last month, which you can listen to below. There’s also another track available, so just head over there to check that out.
The band’s new album, Bitte Orca, is set to be released on June 8th. “Stillness Is The Move” will be available on 12″ and digitally with new b-sides on May 5th.

Hey mate, I heard a rad remix of Stillness Is The Move today but i can’t it anywhere. Do you know if they released an EP recently? Not on Western Vinyl me thinks.
