Not sure what albums to spend your hard-earned cash on this week? Well, my friends, this is exactly what the Daily Graboid is all about! Take a sample of the new releases this week, and maybe you’ll find something you didn’t expect to discover.

This week’s highlights include new records from The Bird and the Bee, Loney Dear, and Cotton Jones (Michael Nau of Page France). Or maybe you would be interested in something more familiar like Bruce Springsteen’s or Franz Ferdinand’s latest. Let us know what you’re excited for this week, and feel free to recommend anything we may have missed.

I like how everything released yesterday has an overall mellow feeling.

I’m really digging the Cotton Jones, pretty different from Page France but still entertaining.

  2. PJ says:

Yeah, it almost feels like a rest period from the avalanche of stuff from last week.

Just asking, but would you guys prefer that I posted the Graboid on the actual release day (Tuesday)? I’ve always posted on Weds. because I liked to sample everything that was released.

That being said, if a large majority of you would like for it to be posted on Tuesdays, than I have no problem making it so.

    Beirut’s new one?

  4. Jerry says:

The Cotton Jones and Loney Dear albums are quite good. The past few weeks have been nice weeks for new music.

  5. PJ says:

that Beirut EP is not till February 17

  6. Brendan says:

I’d prefer Tuesday just because I’d be able to sample it early in the day and maybe make a CD run later on to get the album. But it’s all on your convenience.
