He’s done songs by Radiohead, Elliott Smith, and Nine Inch Nails, so why not one of the few sadder-sounding LCD Soundsystem songs? I don’t know why I like seeing Kermit sing “New York I Love You, But You’re Bringing Me Down” so much, but I do. In the end, it turns out this is actually from James Murphy and Co., but there’s definitely some echoes of the “Sad Kermit” videos from a while back. You can watch it over at Videogum.
