One album that I immediately latched onto this week is Longwave’s Secrets are Sinister. I was heavily into their debut way back in 2003, and since then, I pretty much lost track of them. I think they released only one other album since their debut, but I gave the new material a listen, and they still haven’t changed at all. Very much a good thing.
I’m also really digging the new record from Love is All, of course, as i’ve been waiting for this one for a very long time. A couple of more releases worth mentioning include Au Revoir Simone’s remix album Reverse Migration, Creaky Boards’ Brooklyn Is Love, Danielson’s Trying Hartz, Jihae’s Elvis Is Still Alive, and the re-release of Deer Tick’s War Elephant.
