On last week’s edition of The Daily Graboid, I discovered a nice little gem called “Blue Ocean Blue” from a band called Lake, a five-piece from Olympia, WA. I really enjoy little pop songs like this, as it kinda reminded me of a lo-fi casiotone-happy version of Headlights. I haven’t had a chance to check out their new album, Oh, the Places We’ll Go, which is out on K Records, but I did check out their Daytrotter session from earlier in the month which is enough reason for me to post about it.
The band is currently in the midst of a rather hefty tour that continues through late November. Not much else to add really, so just check out the Daytrotter version of the song below.
