Can't say I was familiar with the 'Wooden Wand', but I like the mix of country, folk, blues and soul on 'Waiting In Vain'. Good choice of MP3s here, which give a cross-section of the styles on the album. 'Look In on Me' is spooky in the way it seems to conjure the ghost of John Lennon, while 'Doreen' reminds me of Chris Isaak, in a good way. Enjoying the blog, will be back. Yeah, the 'Daily' part doesn't really indicate the weekly function of the post, but it's what i've been using for two years now, so it's kinda stuck and has a nice ring to it.
