It’s always such a pleasure to work on the Daily Graboid and find a week full of great releases, which happens to be the case this week after a rather lackluster previous week (the reason for no Graboid).

    I immediately liked Brendan Canning’s album. Not such much Kevin Drew’s. I don’t think either are as strong as their s/t and You Forgot It in People, but I’m still holding my breath because I know they can do it.

    Yeah, there’s this driving energy with Canning’s record that I absolutely love. Like I said in my post about it, it’s one of the things that made me like BSS in the first place. It’s something different, unlike Kevin Drew’s, which had a ‘been there, done that’ sort of vibe to it.
