It’s been quite some time since i’ve actually given any kind of shit about a Guy Ritchie film. It’s a shame really, as I consider Lock Stock… and Snatch as some of my favourite crime films. But it seems the director had completely lost his way since he married the material girl. Seriously, what happened?
Could this new film, RocknRolla, bring Ritchie back to prominence? From the looks of the new trailer that was premiered on Empire, all signs point to yes, but it really does look like more of the same. That being said, isn’t that really what we all want? I wouldn’t consider this some kind of return to form, but more like this is just the type of film that he does best.
