The boys of Hot Chip recently announced that they’re going on tour, and despite the first of their North American dates not being until late September, a presale has already been scheduled. Tickets go on sale on May 23, but The Tripwire has all the info you need if you’d like to be ahead of the curve. In fact, the presale begins early today at 9am CST.
Here’s the full set of tour dates below, and i’m delighted to see an Atlanta date right there at the end. I’m sure that will be a very fun night indeed.

Man… when I lived in Tucson I didn’t know too much about good music, and I remember thinking, “nobody ever tours in Tucson.” Now that I’m in Utah, it seems every band I want to see plays Tucson nowadays!
See, I saw Hot Chip play the free show at Variety Playhouse about a year ago and I really wasn’t all that impressed. Five guys standing behind synthesizers = not worth seeing more than once, if that.
