New Songs From My Brightest Diamond & My Morning Jacket

This is a bit late, but I feel like i’m doing everyone who reads this site everyday a huge disservice by not mentioning it at least. Last week, new tracks made their debut onto the internet from both My Brightest Diamond and My Morning Jacket. For my own personal tastes, I was a bit more giddy over the announcement of Shara Worden’s sophomore effort, A Thousand Shark’s Teeth. Nothing against MMJ, but I can’t tell you how much I loved Worden’s 2006 debut, Bring Me the Workhorse. Such an unbelievable talent, and it’s still hard to believe that such an incredible voice could come from such a petite woman.
Check out both tracks below as My Brightest Diamond’s A Thousand Shark’s Teeth is set to be released June 17 by Asthmatic Kitty; while My Morning Jacket’s Evil Urges will be hitting shelves on June 10th on ATO Records.

My Brightest Diamond. Man. How do you get a voice like that? Seriously!
