Like everyone else, I’m drooling over the upcoming bounty of a new Notwist album. But The Devil, You + Me, doesn’t hit this side of the ocean until June, so we’ll need to latch onto whatever bones the band is willing to throw us. Thankfully the band is putting out its first video for the album, “Where In This World.” You can see it at this site here, in all its violin-on-head-bashing, eating-from-cans-in-the-forest, homemade-rusting-flying-device glory. And the song? Another great example of the Notwist’s skill at blending soft melodies, electronic beats, and live instruments. The track has a slow-burning, expansive feeling, and is making me even more excited for this new album. Enjoy!
