I had a feeling this week would be taking a turn for the worst, considering when I went outside earlier in the week, I had noticed that pollen was out and about in full force – which made me cry a little inside, as now I am racked with allergies. What better way to combat the spring allergy season then with some new album releases, which there are more than plenty of. A few albums i’m interested in checking out include A Silver Mt. Zion’s 13 Blues for Thirteen Moons, Plants & Animals’ Parc Avenue, Elf Power’s In a Cave, and De Novo Dahl’s Move Every Muscle, Make Every Sound.
There are also some heavy-hitter albums like The Ranconteurs’ Consolers Of The Lonely and Gnarls Barkley’s The Odd Couple (which was released earlier, but completely unbeknownst to me). Not to be left off include some releases from veteran hitmakers like The B-52s (!), a limited-edition remastered Lemonheads record, a greatest hits album from Morrissey, and five remastered Jesus & Mary Chain albums.

On behalf of XL Recordings and Warner Bros Records, many thanks for plugging “Consolers Of The Lonely” … .. thanks also, on behalf of the labels and The Raconteurs, for not posting any pirate links although, if your readers would like a good quality, non-pirated, preview clip, a widget of the promo video for “Salute Your Solution” is available for fans and bloggers to embed from the band’s site at http://www.theraconteurs.com/widget.html .
