Last night I received an inconspicuous little email the other night regarding a music video. Nothing in it registered that I should actually click to watch this thing, considering there was absolutely no information at all as to who did the the video nor what it was for. Luckily, curiosity got the better of me and checked it out to my delight to find out that it was a video from Atlanta four-piece The Coathangers!
It’s for the track “Tonya Harding” from their debut LP that was released last year on Rob’s House Records. It’s a simple video featuring primarily stop-motion footage of the most random things you could possibly think of, along with the girls showing off their wild energy that’s indicative of the band’s frequent live shows.
Speaking of tours, The Coathangers recently kicked off a new tour that started the other night in Atlanta that will continue on through mid-March. Check the dates below.
