For a long time now, I would only watch the Super Bowl for the ads. I think this is the same for a lot of people now. Though, for the first time in a few years, I didn’t catch last night’s broadcast — for one, because I didn’t really give a shit. Though, for the past half hour or so, i’ve been catching up on all of the commercials since you can watch all of them online thanks to Spike.com (hopefully the first and last time I will have to visit that site). I immediately scanned the movie trailers, and noticed a few decent ones including the kick-ass Iron Man spot and the new offering from Pixar, Wall-E. The Wall-E trailer made me really really happy. Not gonna lie. I thought this year’s commercials were better than they have been the past couple of years.
I also thought that this year’s ads were overall better than the past couple of years. I am not sure how the Iron Man movie will turn out, hopefully it turns out to be good.
I was quite confused about what the point of the pixar ad was for, until the end…
