I’m a little bit late on posting this tour date news, but that’s just how I like to do things around here. 2008 seems to be the year of Dan Bejar, with both Hello, Blue Roses (album currently out now) and now his upcoming Destroyer album, which is due out in in early March. I’ve yet to see Bejar perform at all, whether that be with Destroyer or The New Pornographers, but i’m marking my calendar in anticipation of catching him at the Atlanta date in April.
After listening to Trouble in Dreams more than a couple of times at work, I can definitely consider it an early contender for album of the year. Though, I wouldn’t hold my breath, as I said the same thing last year about Andrew Bird’s record, and it barely even made my top 20.
