The Grammys were on last night? I had no idea. Do I care? Unfortunately, not at all! I was actually out that night participating in more important affairs; for instance, watching There Will Be Blood – which finally found it’s way to our theater here in Auburn. That being said, seeing Daft Punk make their first ever television appearance would’ve been wonderful, but thankfully that’s what YouTube is for.

Not much exactly the kind of pop I was expecting once the duo appeared, but I have a feeling most of the cheers were mostly due in part to the pyramid moving than anything else.

What saddens me is that I was talking to a couple of teens a few weeks back about Kanye West’s song and they were like, “Daft Who?”

Also, how was There WIll Be Blood? It’s next on my list of must-see movies now that I’ve seen No Country For Old Men

It’s not the type of film that I would normally watch, but I worship at the alter of Paul Thomas Anderson, haha. It’s good though, just more of an acting showcase than anything else. I felt like it dragged on at times, which is probably due more to the lack of dialogue throughout the film.

The thing that sucked was they didn’t appear until the song was nearly over.

I live blogged the whole Grammys… it was better than those in recent years…

the song “stronger” is a great song. kanye west and daft punk have done it . the song is a classic . i listen to both kanye and daft punk and just fusing the 2 seperate elements of genres together is just a masterpiece

I heard a rumour that it was actually the eye candy twins underneath the daft punk helmets? These rumours are rife but i did notice the daft punk guys looked taller and of similar height.
