The Rosebuds Announce mini East Coast Tour, cover Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It”

The Rosebuds recently announced a small mini-tour of the East Coast, but unfortunately the dates are nowhere near me – bah! The real treat to all of this is the remix and video of Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It,” a surprisingly faithful cover by Ivan Howard and Kelly Crisp’s canine companion Jasmine, as the video depicts while the two go out for the day. This pretty much had me laughing every time I listened to it yesterday. Cheers to Pitchfork for posting both of these lovely treats.

    I was disappointed that I didn’t get to see The Rosebuds last night – since they did an awesome job opening for The National and Carol Bui opened last night’s show…but there’s a review coming this weekend for the show I did see. Oh yes.
