I know a lot of you might be a bit sick of all the Rock Band posts, but I can’t help how much I love playing this game. I’m not even sure how many of our readers even actually own it.

This piece of news surprised the hell out of me though, because never in my wildest dreams would I ever think that Harmonix would actually release an Oasis pack, hell, even any kind of britpop for that matter. But it’s coming folks, next week as downloadable content. The thought of anything Oasis may make some of you sigh, but anything pre-Be Here Now — I will fucking take any day of the week, believe me.

Here are the list of tracks that will be included in the pack (no covers!) below. For more Oasis goodness, head over to This Recording as they’ve posted about 982343734397 covers of “Wonderwall.” Now, I must be off to practice my Liam voice!

Oasis Pack:

“Don’t Look Back in Anger”

“Live Forever”

“Wonderwall”

I’m listening to “Wonderwall” right now, and you know what? It’s still a fucking great song; though, in the words of Mr. Fran Healy, “What’s a wonderwall anyways?”

Just finished playing the tracks this morning. I think a majority of these songs are more suited towards the vocal spectrum, though the drum portion of “Wonderfall” is more difficult than I thought it would be.

  5. I keep hearing so much about that Rock Band game. I just played Guitar Hero for the first time a few weeks ago and can’t wait to try Rock Band. Sounds like they have a lot more tracks to choose from on Rock Band.
