It’s nearly 5:00 a.m. and I still haven’t attempted to try and sleep yet. Another night of staying up late for no apparent reason, as it’s almost become routine for me. Before I attempt to try and fall asleep, I wanted to share this little game I was playing called Crayon Physics. I discovered it through this week’s 1UP Show podcast, which you can download here.
It’s a simple, but incredibly unique concept that involves a physics engine that implements the drawing of objects that appear as crayon scribblings, that are then used to interact in the environment. It’s almost like creating your own Rube Goldberg machine that’s completely made out of crayon marked shapes.
The actual game doesn’t take long to finish, as it took me probably 15 minutes to breeze through it. It’s only six levels, but what compelled me to continue playing is the soothing music that permeates through the entire game. It’s basically a looping song of a woman humming, but it never feels repetitive at all. I almost want to just keep the game on and fall asleep to it.

If you don’t want the game ruined for you, I suggest you not watch the entire video – as it shows ways to beat each level. Regardless though, a very fun little experience.
