Cities Tapped for Radiohead North American Tour
Posted by PJ in Concerts, The Yellow Stereo, Upcoming
Yes, this news of Radiohead’s North American tour have been posted everywhere, but I was hoping to have some kind of specified details of venues/dates and such. I’m sure that will come soon enough, though I figured I should go ahead and post these cities that have been confirmed since i’ll probably forget to.
According to Billboard, the tour will be seperated into two different legs with the UK and European tours happening right in the middle, with the first leg beginning June 6 in Dublin and the second after July 8.
I’ve been fortunate enough to see Radiohead twice, with the second time being an awful experience when they played at HiFi Buys in Atlanta, a piece of shit venue as far as i’m concerned. I remember sitting almost all the way in the back, and shortly into the band’s set it started to rain. Still, depending on the venue, i’m interested in seeing them perform again.

Arghhh… Guess I’ll have to make the haul to Chicago or STL. It’s a pretty decent list of cities, but they’re obviously spending a great amount of time concentrated in a few areas (i.e. west coast). Time to start saving $ so I can get raped by a ticket broker for good seats when they come. : )
Thanks for posting this.
And it looks like my next Chicago trip will be revolving around when they play…
*Sniff* Of course I have to live a good 11-12 hour drive from San Francisco, the closest city of the bunch.
can anyone tell much how much radiohead tickets were the last time around and if i have to get to the ticketmaster site 5 minutes before the selling time and constantly refresh to ensure that i get tickets? i’d really like to go to the LA show but if it’s out of budget…:(
Oh I am all over the Indy show.
Hopefully (crossing fingers) Radiohead can break another trend by using something other than ticketmaster. Just a thought.
If i remember correctly, their last (not the small venue one) tour the tickets were like $60? If it’s once again through ticketmaster, I think as long as you’re not trying to get more than two tickets, you won’t need to be there as soon as tickets go on sale.
I’ll be at the DC show for sure. I want to hit up at least two of these shows.
