This will probably appeal to our gamer readers as I found this video of “Still Alive” songwriter Jonathan Coulton performing at a recent show at The Five Spot in Atlanta. It’s from the recent game from Valve called Portal. I finished it on the PC back when it was released in October and it’s definitely one video game that everyone should experience. This original song is played during the end of the game, as it’s being sung by a female computer voice that we’ve all come to love or hate from playing through the entire thing.

What’s so great about the song is not only is there attachment to it from playing the game, it’s also just so random and unexpected. That being said, it completely works. Anyways, i’ve got the mp3 of the original version below as well for you to listen to. Spoilerish for most, but you should’ve played Portal already. Get to it!
