After what feels like countless months of anticipation, Rock Band’s release is finally upon us! I can’t even sleep from the excitement, as i’ll be there at my local Gamestop first thing in the morning to pick this up. There isn’t much else to add besides that and I really just want to play the damn thing already!
This year has easily been one of the best as far as video game releases go, but where it stands along to previous years is certainly up for debate. I’m pretty psyched to have a few days off from work this week for Thanksgiving, which I will be spending knee-deep in video game paradise. This song below describes my feeling at this very moment. Just ignore all the stuff about being on the 1UP Show (good podcast though).

I’m getting ready to go get mine. Once I get hang of the drums I’ll be looking to join a group to play anything over the PS3.
Just played for a few hours, primarily with the drums. A helluva a lot of fun! The difficulty comes in with the bass drum, as I can’t even complete a song on expert cos of it. It’s something to get used to and will improve with practice though!
So far, I don’t like the feel of the new guitar. It feels so odd and the solo frets are not easy to get to. By the time I get to the frets, the solo is already over haha.
Woo! I recently got hooked on Guitar Hero and I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Rock Band! There are going to be some rad Rock Band parties at my house next weekend! I love that you can tap the mic to play the cowbell. More cowbell!
OMG! Where did you find a copy of the 1up Show Theme song?! Do you have an mp3 of it? Please contact me. I’d love to get my hands on that mp3! (I’d buy it legitimately if they sold it, but they don’t. *sigh*)

Rock Band rocks! I finally got to play the game and I swear I played it for at least 15 hours over the past weekend. I am hoping this is just the start of more games to come with this type of functionality
This game is great! They have great song choices in this game its amazing!
