This will be a short post, as I’m super busy with prepping for grad school applications… Once again, I’m about a month late, but I’d like to add to the pile of good debut albums that have come out this year. Last month multi-instrumentalist five piece Ravens and Chimes put out Reichenbach Falls, an indie pop-rock album of ArcadeFireian (I think that may be a new nominee for worst new word of the year) nature. They never met a glockenspiel they didn’t like, and while such use of different instruments is all the rage nowadays, they pull it off quite well. Songs range from gentle acoustic numbers to Wolf Parade hyperactivity, and the album gets better with repeated listens. So, if you’re looking for a little more in this vein, you could do a lot worse than Ravens and Chimes…

I remember coming across a few tracks to put on the Graboid when the album came out. I ended up completely forgetting to add them, so i’m glad you have done that here
