::Video:: | Daft Punk | “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” (live)

Since I still haven’t seen French duo Daft Punk and their famous live shows yet, the upcoming live album Alive 2007 will probably be the closest thing for me to experience it for the foreseeable future. To promote the double-album, which is duo out November 20th on Virgin, this video was released from the duo’s performance this past August in Brooklyn. The footage is shot from 250 cameras held by fans and was directed by Olivier Gondry (Michel’s older brother). Cool? Yeah, cool.

    You know what I realized was so awesome about Yellow Stereo? It’s one of the few music blogs that post multiple times per day. I have a hard time posting more than once a week so hats off to you gents.

    Oh, and good taste in music definitely helps…where do you guys here about all these new bands?

    I was at that show. It hadn’t occurred to me that the kid standing next to me on a chair with a video camera (in the rain) was videotaping something for the DVD. I think my review’s probably still on the front page of Indietastic – although it doesn’t really do the night justice. If that video’s any indication – I can’t wait for that DVD.

    Hot damn! I’d do anything to see Daft Punk live. I saw Justice at Detour earlier this month, they were great, but Daft? Surreal!

    hey guys, im from brisbane in australia and i keep hearing this new dance trance with bits of harder better faster stronger in it..its been playing a lot at clubs, at future music festival on saturday and a few times on the radio…i have been trying to find it EVERYWHERE!!!

    CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!
