This past Friday night at work I popped in the 10th album from Aussie quartet The Lucksmiths entitled Spring A Leak, which brought with it a marathon of great indie-pop listening.  Released last month on Matinee Recordings, the album (2-discs) compiles over a decade’s worth of b-sides, covers, remixes, etc. totalling 45 tracks in all.

It’s simply massive and if you’re getting yourself a wealth of value here if you happen to pick this up.  Hopefully, this is a warm-up for some new material in the near future, since it’s been nearly two years from their last proper release.  In support of the release, the band have been touring the US since early September and can still be seen as they’re playing tonight with The Ladybug Transistor in Durham, NC.
