Thanks to the Tripwire as they recently put up this new track “Truck” from the upcoming album Hello, Avalanche from Austin’s The Octopus Project. With an upbeat tempo and random bleeps and bloops, there’s still something that I find comforting in listening to this. The album is set to be released next week on the 16th via Peek-A-Boo Records.
We’ve already heard the previously released track “I Saw The Bright Shinies” a few months ago, and it’s safe to say that the album is looking mighty good now after hearing these two tracks. I think Pablo was able to get an advanced copy of the album, so maybe we’ll hear his opinions on it sometime soon.
The band is currently in the midst of a tour, which includes a stop in Atlanta at the Drunken Unicorn this Thursday night. Dates for the entire tour can be found after the cut below.

I can’t wait… I should be getting a copy today in the mail, and the bits I’ve heard are great. Ifyou can ever see these guys live, do it. It’s loud and fun.
