This week’s edition of The Daily Graboid comes in a day later than usually expected. Why is this you ask? Well, if you see below, there happens to be an overwhelming amount of quality album releases this week. I woke up yesterday morning to check out the releases lists and all the usual chores I go through when compiling everything and just decided that there was no way to listen to everything and have a post ready by the time I had to go to work. I think this post might have the single most mp3s as far as I can remember. So empty those wallets folks, because there is a lot to be had here in this final week of an amazing month for new releases.
Some albums I can recommend include: Stars’ In Our Bedroom After the War, OFFICE’s Night at the Ritz, The Cave Singers’ Invitation Songs, Jose Gonzales’ In Our Nature, Iron & Wine’s The Shepherd’s Dog, Mum’s Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy and Sea Wolf’s Leaves in the River. That’s only a handful of albums out of so many more that I haven’t even begun to listen to yet.
What are you planning on picking up this week? I’m sure there has to be at least something that you’re interested in. If there is anything else you can recommend, please feel free to do so!

Stars and Iron & Wine are amazing.
I have a PJ Harvey White Chalk MP3 here http://www.pampelmoose.com/mspeaks/?p=1009
so many of these took a while to grow on me, but they of course did.
except for mum. everyone seems to be obsessed with this album. it sounds like xiu xiu or frog eyes on speed.
mum’s album is a disappointment, but i didn’t expect much when the main vocalists aren’t even in the group anymore.
Iron & Wine’s new one got me so excited I completely forgot that Jose Gonzalez’s came out this week! Oh well, I’ll pick that one up soon enough. Until than, Sam Beam will give me all the psychedelic flok I need to hold me over…
