Back in June I mentioned how I had fallen head over heels for the new track that was released from Club 8′s forthcoming album The Boy Who Couldn’t Stop Dreaming, which will be released on September 26th. I played “Whatever You Want” to death and thankfully the song is still great after playing it again a minute ago.
Once again, this Swedish indiepop duo have me under their control as Labrador released the second single “Heaven” from the new album. Like I said before, only Swedes can make pop music this good. Here’s a little description of the track from the label’s website:
“Heaven” introduces a hint of Brasilian carnivals with a mix of euphoria and melancholica, percussion grooves and a lyrical death theme. And of course, melodies to die for. Heavenly indeed!

great track but i can’t help but compare it to ‘young folks’…steady beat and bongo drums i suppose. love it tho, can’t wait for the album.
i just heard this song off of another blog. Sweden’s putting a lot of bands on the map these days. Reminds me of an upbeat Submarines.
This album should be huge. Thanks! Long time connaisseur of this blog. Always top notch!
