Today we are graced with the first day of Fall. A day i’ve been anxiously awaiting for months, as the prolonged days of blistering heat slowly begin to dwindle and the faintest feeling of a cold breeze begin to manifest. It was last night as I was walking to the movie theater, that I noticed how pleasant it felt and my excitement just started to build up inside in anticipation for the upcoming months. Hopefully the new season brings with it some new exciting memories and time to languish in the beauty of the changing leaves and everything else Fall has to offer.
As with the previous mix from last year, this follows a similar theme of primarily post-rock songs. It’s what I closely associate with the season and what I would listen to if I were to walk around alone during some cool and quiet night. I also included a healthy mix of different songs that I imagine most would think of when it comes to some kind of Autumn mix. Simply, it’s beautiful music.
I hope this somewhat makes up for the lack of posts around here, as I know most of us here have been very busy with school/work and whatever else. You can go here and listen to last year’s mix, as I think the mp3 files are still functional. I hope you enjoy this mix and thank goodness for Fall!
