Beach House Open Fall Dates for Grizzly Bear
Posted by PJ in Concerts, The Yellow Stereo, Upcoming
I was just watching the new video of Beach House’s hauntingly beautiful “Master of None” on Pitchfork a few minutes ago and I must say that the song is still just as good compared to the first time I heard it. The original video of the song was premiered back in January, but this new clip was released to coincide with the recent UK release of their debut self-titled album. If you have yet to experience it for yourself, I highly recommend you pick it up. There still hasn’t been an album that has hit me as hard emotionally since I heard Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally’s stunning debut (read my review here).
Along with that video, an announcement was made that the duo will be opening for Grizzly Bear during their announced fall dates. I think that would be an excellent show to see, just because I think both of the band’s sound are very similar in mood and atmosphere. Beach House are currently on tour this month and you can purchase their debut on Carpark Records in the US and Bella Union in the UK.
