I really like this baby polar image that I used for last week’s Graboid, so i’m going to use it again. I’m kind of bumbed out a little bit this week because there are a lot of great options to spend your time with, as The National is playing tonight in Atlanta along with Feist/Grizzly Bear, Battles and Snowden playing shows on Friday night Let’s not forget that Bonnaroo is starting tomorrow as well. What do all these have in common? Well, I’m not going to any of them. Bonnaroo proved to be a bit too expensive for me to pull the trigger and I tried to get tickets this morning for Feist, but sadly it was sold out. Still holding out hope that i’ll somehow be able to score a ticket (If anyone has a spare ticket let me know!).

As far as albums releases go this week, i’m enjoying what i’ve heard so far from Datarock’s Datarock Datarock, Immaculate Machine’s Fables and Underhanded Romance from Scissors for Lefty. Other than that, everything is up in the air and hopefully you’ll find something you like out this batch of songs. Anything else released that I may have missed?

Datarock | “Fa-Fa-Fa”
Datarock | “I Used To Dance With My Daddy”

Yep, The National and Feist have both been sold out for a long time. That’s why I didn’t bother posting about either show on C&T recently. No sense hyping a sold-out show, you know?

Im stoked, The National is in town (Cincinnati) on friday. Its nice to see those guys come back to their home and while the show was not sold out as of today, im sure that it will be. I plan on throwing down a review of the show this weekend. Feist would be great to see as well. Are you hitting up those shows Rich?
