The folks over at I Guess I’m Floating have posted news regarding new album details from Chicago’s Office. I don’t want to recycle everything i’ve said in previous posts, so head over here if you want to read my gushing reviews. I couldn’t be more excited over this though, as I consider Q & A one of my favorite discoveries of 2006. The best part of that statement is the fact that the album was technically self-released in 2005. It’s pop perfection simply put, and these songs will be implanted into your memory with it’s infectious hooks and melodies. I just have no clue how they never caught on with the rest of the world, considering the fact that I first heard them through a song on someone’s myspace profile.

The last time I read up on the band, they had currently signed with New Line Records, an an independent label owned by former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha. If you head over to their myspace page now you’ll notice that the group has announced the completion of their upcoming album titled A Night At The Ritz and will be released sometime in the Fall. Along with that, there is a tracklisting and a couple of new songs as well to sample.

I can’t wait to hear the new album, as i’m just extremely excited over this news. Here are a few tracks off Q & A, though if you are looking to purchase is no longer available as far as I know.
