So there is this hot new track that I think everyone should be clued in about. I heard it tuesday for the very first time while sitting at my computer sipping on a cuppy of french roast. It is called D.A.N.C.E. and it is by these two guys who call themselves Justice (to be really specific their names are Xavier and Gaspard.)
So maybe I am lying when I say I didn’t hear the track until tuesday. I would also be lying if I said that I haven’t heard roughly 1675 remixes of it. I thought about posting as many versions of the track I could find. Then I realized I would be very upset at myself for a long time. Anyway, I have been listening to the other tracks on the new Justice album “+”… “cross” as I will call it… and have not been let down in my building up of this album.
The album infuses electronics with a little disco flare. I feel there is a light touch of porn music wrapped up in the midst of everything. My personal favorite track is titled “The Party”. It Features a stairstepping synthesizer somewhere in the middle that sounds like it was plucked right out of a “Debbie Does Dallas” sort of flick. Throughout the album the “porn” riffs seem to “pop” up. Yet for me, the album has enough Daft Punk-ness to keep me entertained throughout.
As far as single tracks go, I was surprised at the lack of them. However, I will give it to those Justice boys as they sure put out a banger of a track in “D.A.N.C.E.”, and it got so much blog coverage that it might have made up for about 3 or 4 singles. “Cross” as an album in my opinion is a great listen. I totally recommend checking this album out and just listening through it, not skipping around.

I definatly think the “Cross” is a brilliant album i really do think that “D.A.N.C.E” is one of their weakest songs yet, It’s just unlike all their other songs but it just doesnt do it for me but all their other songs are the bloody dogs danglies…
