Just for you, a Sunday edition of The Daily Graboid! I really hate posting this late, but i’ve been sort of busy and suddenly decided that I wanted a little break from blogging.
For one, I caved in and bought a Nintendo Wii. It’s probably the best impulse buy ever, and it’s completely taken up every little bit of free time that i’ve had. I highly recommend picking one up if you’ve had the slightest interest in trying one out as I think it can appeal to a wide range of people. I’ve always been a gamer geek at heart, so of course I had to pick one up. These are hard to find as well, as I had to wait outside Target at 7 in the morning last Sunday. More surprising is the fact that there was a line up people trying to get one too. Damn you Mario.
I’m sure that since it’s the end of the week that you’ve probably already know about all the releases, but i’m just posting this because it would make me feel bad to miss a week. A couple that are must-haves include Feist’s The The Reminder, 65daysofstatic’s The Destruction of Small Ideas, Electrelane’s No Shouts, No Calls and The Mary Onettes’ self-titled debut – which I have been listening to a lot this weekend. Not to say that the rest aren’t worth your time, but I just haven’t gotten around to fully listening to a lot of these yet. Anything else worth picking up?

tiniest typo in the 65daysofstatic album. the wonderful songs make up for it though =)
I’m dissapointed by the new tori amos album. I wonder if it’s only me.
I thought her last album was crap, but this is alright compared to that.
Thanks for the heads-up on the typo haha.
glad to read someone make the watchmen parallel. very derivative show but entertaining indeed.
