I got the heads-up on the new single from New York’s LEVY a couple of weeks ago from Torr, and since than i’ve been playing the single somewhat frequently.  If you haven’t heard of the group than don’t fret, because I think when their debut LP Rotten Love was released so late into 2005, (I want to say November, but I don’t remember) that it sort of fell off people’s radar very quickly.

I remember hearing “Matthew” on WOXY late one night and was intrigued enough to check out the album for myself.  It’s a great record if you happen to pick it up, and the best detail about it is it’s consistency.  There weren’t tracks on it that stood apart from one another, but were all just equally good.  Most people consider that sort of thing boring though.

The new album titled Glorious will be released in September on One Little Indian, and you can check out the title-track for yourself.  You can also stream a few other new tracks on the band’s myspace.
