Well, I’m still computer-less, and I don’t know when I’ll have one, so it kind of limits my music discovering powers… I can’t even add new stuff I find to my iPod (*sob*)… I can, however, highlight something I found thanks to Andy’s Post-CMJ Show post a while back. He recommended a band called Headlights, and after checking them out for myself, I’ve decided he was pointing us to a nice little gem of a band.

Headlights hail from Illinois, and make catchy indie pop. You know, the kind with male and female vocals that puts a big smile on your face and works its way into your head in the best way possible. Their recent album Kill Them With Kindness has a handful of really really good songs and a bunch of good ones. It’s not a flawless album, and the best two tracks come near the beginning of the album, but this one is worth checking out and this is a band I’ll keep an eye on. I’ll let the tracks do the talking for those of you who have yet to hear them… enjoy!

I am so extremely glad to see them posted on this blog! I picked up their album a month or so ago and can’t stop listening to it. It’s all over the place, but I love it!

“Put Us Back Together Right”….i love this song to pieces. DW did you see them in Atlanta not too long ago? I think they played at Lenny’s or someplace.
