Here we are beginning this first week of fall with the end of this month’s ridiculous amount of album releases. Honestly I didnt think I was going to get this week’s Daily Graboid up at all considering my computer issues. But, I found a small solution with an older pc even though it’s not really convienent considering having the mp3s on this harddrive pushed it to it’s limits of space. I really wanted to get this one up to finish off the month, so here it is even though it’s a few days late.

Like previous weeks, this batch of albums does not disappoint as there are plenty that i’ve had in my sights for a while now. A few here are worth noting starting with Adem Illhan’s newest album Love & Other Planets, Emily Haines’ solo effort Knives Don’t Have Your Back, The Oohlas Best Stop Pop and Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse is back with his newest album in five years.

I certainly do like a fair few of those tracks. Especially the Scissor Sisters! Can’t beat ‘em.

Horse Feathers and Adem were two of my favorites of the year. You should come to the studio tomorrow for the show, I’ll give you a call tomorrow afternoon.

Scissor Sister’s ‘She’s my man’ must be the next single after ‘I don’t feel like dancin’. This piece is so cleverly made, sticks in your ear and yearns for a great dance remix.

I love the new Sparklehorse album, I reckon it’s the best thing he’s ever done.

    Still loving Adem too.

That is the funniest thing I’ve read in a long time.

    “newest album in five years.”

A girl goes on holiday for a week and pop goes crazy. Please help.

Teddybears – Yours to Keep : is this the Nenah Cherry version or the Annie version? Or is it both of them? Or, or, or – I’m so lost
