When I saw Sigur Rós live this summer, they closed out their show with an amazing song called “Hafsól.” Anyone who has seen them live will remember it as the one where the bassist used a drumstick to play his instrument. The original studio version of the song is on their first album, Von, as “Hafssol,” but the new and improved “Hafsól” (minus an ’s’) is a whole new beast. After the show I searched everywhere in the blogosphere for a studio version of the song, but only found live versions. So, I finally dished out the cash to buy the imported Hoppípolla Single, which has the song as a b-side. So, here it is, the amazing “Hafsól,” so far unavailable anywhere in the U.S.!

OK, I fixed it. I need to remember that ezarchive freaks out when I post tracks with accented letters in the filename. It ought to work fine now… Enjoy!
