For months i’ve seen these Cassettes Won’t Listen remixes featured everywhere, but i’ve never gotten around to listening to these myself. Not until a few days ago that I found in my email the newest track to recieve the remix treatment, “Everyone’s Starting Over” from NYC’s The Diggs which is on their debut LP Commute.
It’s a solid remix, and was enough to make me search the internet for all these other remixes from Cassettes Won’t Listen (also from NYC). In fact, CWL is just one man – producer & multi-instrumentalist Jason Drake. As of late he completed remixes of Dr. Octagon and Morcheeba to Midlake and Brookville. He’s also released Nobody’s Moving, an EP released in October of last year.
