The Southern Comfort Music Experience (SCMX) is taking over Atlanta this May with a FREE two day music festival incorporating food, (lifestyle) and most importantly, Unexpected Fun®. This summer SCMX will travel the country from San Diego to Philly, kicking off in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park May 20 – 21. SCMX is a 21 and over event and will last from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Check below for the tentative artist lineup.

not entirely sure if i’m going to make it to this one or not. I used to be all about free music festivals, but i guess i’m just getting old. Last few free ones i’ve been to have seemed just waaaaaay too crowded with teenage kids smoking pot and causing a ruckus. Since i’m not familar with any of the other bands playing (should i know these guys?) i might opt to wait until flaming lips come through on their own. I guess it just depends on how much craziness i’m willing to put up with. In my experience the free music festival in atlanta is quite the madhouse…

i don’t know any of the other bands either haha. I think there won’t be many teenagers to put up with cos it’s 21+ only? i dunno. Causing a ruckus lol….
