If you’ve been living under a rock for the past year you’ve probably haven’t heard about Gnarls Barkley’s St. Elsewhere dropping this week. I’d like to assume that you all know about this, but those of you who don’t then i just have to say Shame on you!

I was only familiar of this collaboration since i kept up with a lot of Danger Mouse’s work. Infamous for mixing the highly praised and illegal The Grey Album which consisted of Jay-Z’s Black Album and the Beatle’s White Album. This besides being one the most sought after producer’s in music, he’s worked on several top albums of the past year including Gorillaz and MF Doom.

I’m not too familiar with Cee-Lo besides his work in mainstream hip-hop. Though, you can find them working together previously on Dangerdoom’s (Danger Mouse & MF Doom collaboration) album The Mouse and the Mask on the song “Benzie Box”, which is a really great hip-hop album from last year that i highly recommend.

Anyways, i want to add more but this is currently making me late for work. That’s ok though! At the moment the only thing i have to upload for you is their lead single “Crazy” which is gaining overwhelming popularity everywhere. I think i heard in the UK it broke a record being the first single to reach #1 before the actual single was released. That’s quite a feat, and just shows how powerful the internet can be. I personally don’t have the album YET because sadly, i cannot find it anywhere here in town.
