I’m sure most everyone has heard about the new album Everything All The Time that was released last month on Subpop from the band Band of Horses. I’ve had the album for a few weeks and have listened to it thoroughly at work, cos i just have that kind of time. I’m here to reassure everyone that the album deserves the hype it’s been getting. It’s a definitely a great album. It kinda sounds like a cross between The Shins (i’m not a fan, but this a comparison in a good way) and Rogue Wave. The single “The Funeral” is instantly great, i’ve had the song on repeat when i listen to it. If you have yet to hear it, it’ll be available for download here along with another single i enjoy “Wicked Gil” which is a more harder song then most of the songs on the album. It’s already gathering steam as a possible top 10 album contender, and with a glowing review from Pitchfork then i’d say it’s worth a listen.
